HH SUNKIST is a modern, elegant mare with super conformation. She has an unflappable sweet temperament with a great willinginess towards her work and has a lovely soft contact. HH SUNKIST has excellent gaits; a graceful, lengthy walk, forward trot with great mechanics, and an active canter which is very comfortable.
HH SUNKIST has been vastly trained by Victoria and Melinda Parbery. She shows a great talent for lateral movement and is currently training Elementary. Lightly campaigned due to commitments of the Tokyo Paralympic Games and Covid.
SHOWDOWN (Imp) is the sire of HH SUNKIST. A stallion imported from Germany and a son of SANDRO HIT, who needs no introduction. Standing at 17.0 ½ hands, SHOWDOWN is a beautiful, modern black/brown Hanoverian stallion with three exceptional elastic paces. Premium licensed at Verden in 2004; Gestuet Famos purchased him for a significant 6-figure euro sum. In 2005 SHOWDOWN went on to do his 30- and 70 day performance tests at Neustadt / Dosse, where he received 9s for character, rideability, temperament, motivation and constitution, 8 for walk and trot and 8.5 for canter. As a result, SHOWDOWN has also been accepted for the Oldenburg Verband.
SANDRO HIT is the grandsire of HH SUNKIST. He leads the WBFSH ranking of the best dressage sires in the world. SANDRO HIT has been amongst the top ten for ten years. He has made a lasting impression on modern dressage horse breeding with his brilliant typed and incredibly light-footed offspring. He is considered the founding stallion of our stud and line founder. SANDRO HIT produced the record number of five offspring who took part in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, and at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, three offspring competed in the dressage, and somewhat surprisingly, the stand out star of the cross country was another Sandro Hit, Santano II ridden by Christopher Burton
WELTMEYER is the grandsire of HH SUNKIST on her dam's side, is considered one of the all time great Hanoverian sires. As the AHS put it, "WELTMEYER continues almost single-handedly to reshape the Hanoverian breed." The WELTMEYER trade mark is to leave powerful horses with impressive conformation, good bones and top-line. He is a phenomenal improver of progeny in riding horse type and conformation. In addition, he improves trot, canter, and rideability.
