ACE registered Warmblood mare

Sonnesterne (Stella) is an Oldenburger mare by the imported Grand Prix stallion Sun and Fun and out of LL Tarandra. She was ACE assessed in January 2018 and received 8s for saddle position, shoulder, frame, top line, and walk.

Sonnesterne is professionally trained under saddle and displays remarkable trainability and talent, which makes her a prospective Para Dressage mount for Victoria in the future. However, due to her age and size, she is being brought up slowly.

Sonnesterne boasts an impressive lineage of genetics, including Sunny Boy, Sandro Hit, Donnerhall, and Argentinus, to name a few. Sun and Fun is renowned for producing brilliant temperaments, which Sonnesterne inherited. Sun and Fun had exceptional trot mechanics, a ground-covering walk, and a canter with a beautiful jump. He scored between 8 and 9 at the Stallion Performance Test in Germany for his readability, willingness to work, and character.

Sunny Boy, Sun and Fun's sire, is part of one of the most successful dam lines in Germany and was the first approved son by the 2021's number one ranked breeding stallion, Sandro Hit. His dam, Fantastica, is the full sister of the German Federation's dressage breeding champion and international Grand Prix winner, Don Schufro.

Sonnesterne has strong jumping lines on her dam's side, such as Northern Congress, who was the foundation stallion for the Northern Warmblood Stud. Cor de la Bryere, another great stallion, revolutionized jumping horse breeding and had an incredible impact on Holsteiner breeding, occurring in more than 80% of lines, and is credited with improving the breed's jumping technique.
